In this talk Dr Courtney will talk about the key factors that disrupt sleep and will share strategies for improving sleep through various means, including improved breathing.
Sleep impacts on working memory and many other cognitive skills. Many children diagnosed with ADHD show major improvements in learning and behaviour when sleep is improved. Some sleep problems are caused by obstructed airways and sleep disordered breathing. Improving a child’s breathing can be the key to improved sleep and also to better brain function, learning and behaviour.
