Dysfunctional breathing habits and patterns are common, seen in up to 1 in 10 people.  For people with chronic health conditions such as asthma, COPD, heart disease, anxiety or panic disorder, breathing disorders are more common and can interfere with treatment outcomes.  Correction of dysfunctional breathing with individualized breathing retraining can be the key to improving many health conditions, including medically unexplained physical symptoms, chronic pain and sleep-disordered breathing.

In this webinar, Dr Rosalba Courtney will explain dysfunctional breathing and how it may be impacting on your patient’s health and driving poor treatment outcomes.

You will learn:

  • The definition of dysfunctional breathing and how it may be impacting your patient’s health
  • To recognize the key signs and symptoms of dysfunctional breathing
  • How biochemical, biomechanical and psychological breathing dysregulation can impact treatment outcomes
  • About integrative approaches to breathing therapy and breathing retraining.
